Specific Purpose: To persuade the course that gun control is non the central cause of mass
shootings, it'south the illicit gun trade that places the guns in the possession of the incorrect people, not
the ordinary americans who follow the rules to possess guns.
Thesis Statement: Instead of imposing stricter laws on guns, nosotros should tackle the gun trouble
in the United States at its roots in the illicit gun merchandise and and so work to promote conceal and
carry laws.

●Attention: On the night of October ane, 2017, a gunman opened fire on a crowd of concert
goers at the Route 91 Harvest music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada, leaving 58
people expressionless and 546 injured. Thisouth was the largest mass shooting in U.South. history.
●Introduce Topic : Gun command has been a controversial topic in the news for years. Many
people are concerned that it is too easy to own a gun and thats while so many shootings
happen while others are fearing the authorities is infringing on their rights to own a gun.
●Relate to Audition: Nearly 1.three million people die in road crashes each year, on average
3,287 deaths a day. On the other manus, in 2013, there were 33,636 deaths due to "injury
